...in about 30 years, most of the kids dumping all their money into these cars are going to really regret it. Sure the car is fun now, but what if you would have used the extra income to purchase a house? Or a land investment (I here they aren't making more land, but I could be wrong). Or start a stock portfolio. Mortgage payments are rarely more expensive than apartment rental - and you get to build equity. If you have the excess income to have a Z and maintain it, more power to you. Just don't forget to do the important things, like plan for the long term. For those that live a balanced lifestyle of investment in real assets, and throwing some money away to enjoy your life as well, enjoy it! I just know there are some asshats putting themselves into thousands of dollars of debt for a car that in the end, is a pleasure item, not a necessity. Owning a Z is a beautiful thing, just make sure you don't make the mistake of spending all your money on this liability that in the end will profit you with no tangible assets. Be balanced kids.
